All About Cedar & Spruce

How we're giving back!

My name is Terri San Nicolas and I own Cedar & Spruce Creative Home. I opened my business in 2017 offering in-home creative workshops, catering to groups of 6 to 20 participants.

6 months ago I suspended my business due to a personal obligation. That situation had resolved and I was gearing up to begin offering workshops again. Then the coronavirus pandemic turned the world upside down.

As I watched the crisis unfold, I marveled at the heroic efforts of those on the front lines. Because the need was great and increasing daily, I began to wonder about ways to use my creative skills to help our local community. After some thought, I decided to create this Shadowbox Collection. I currently have 30 designs and will be adding more as time goes on. They are great to collect as mementos of places you've visited, or to send as a gift to someone from another city.

For the inaugural offering, I partnered with Tri-Lakes Cares in Monument, Colorado to raise $2,500 in 30 days. Beginning now through July 31st, $20 from the sale of each $28 shadowbox will go directly to TESSA, an organization in Colorado Springs dedicated to advocacy for women and children affected by domestic violence. For transparency purposes, donations will be made with the purchaser's name attached, so the gift may be properly acknowledged.

My goal is to raise $2,000, which means 100 shadowboxes must be sold. It's a BIG goal, but the need is BIG. I hope you'll consider joining me in this effort, and give hope and love to families devastated by this pandemic.

If you have questions, please reach out to me via the "Contact" button below. Custom orders are welcome as long as the buyer purchases at least two shadowboxes.  Thank you and stay well everyone!
